Sometimes you want to keep a dog from shaking his ear too much. We need to take the ear down. Sometimes you can cut the toe of a sock out and slide the sock over the dogs head. Sometimes a cone collar can be used to keep the dog from shaking its head. Sometimes all you can do is tape the ear down. Use a long strip inside the ear and a short strip outside the ear. Use the picture for guidance. Lay the ear against the neck and then wrap the tape around the dogs neck. Hopefully the duct tape is sticky enough to restrain the ear. Have the ear checked by an experienced veterinarian.
