Fact: In the media, the leading veterinarians are NOT EVEN VETS.
Dr Mercola is a leading veterinary content provider on the internet and he was a cardiologist at some point before becoming a nutrition supplement salesman.
Dr Marty is ‘America’s Favorite Vet’ or some such bullshit. He sells a mediocre food. It’s NOT BAD it’s not exceptional on any level though. It’s expensive. And you’re ignoring your dog’s ‘cries for help’ if you don’t buy his product.
The other two veterinary ‘experts’ are a retired human pharmacist (Sells another dog food), and there’s a retired human dentist (denounces spay and neuter based on an article and ignoring the confounding evidence).
Why can’t ACTUAL veterinarians be leading content providers?
Because our margins don’t permit it. If we were hawking a special diet or some other product to human AND animal clients I think we could afford national and global ad placement.
We’d also have to be willing to debase ourselves.
