What do you do AROUND the NORMAL feature? Grass?
Grass seed is just okay but doesn’t handle trampling. Roll on grass sheets are a little better. Still doesn’t do ok with trampling….
Sod does. But that costs a bit. Still, you can lay sod to overlap the water edge and it will do well, and obscure the edge. Almost instant gratification…..
You can also transplant native weeds and grasses. They’re used to the geography light soil and rainfall and usually hardier than sod.
Dig plugs around the yard and put them around the pond. Soon they’ll grow together and provide free, durable erosion control and beautification.
