I’m So Happy, Thank You Marietta!

Last year our clinic won NextDoor Favorite for 2018 which is a voted poll among all users of the NextDoor app which links neighbors through an area code and a locale. There are like 30 neighborhoods around our vet clinic and the people in those neighborhoods can vote on who they like best as their vet. And all vets are eligible for nomination and award. And we won it, in 2018.

Then I was locking up yesterday and I noticed Heather had put up the 2019 Winner on the door, which was US, AGAIN.

It just made me so happy.

Heather runs a really good office and keeps me surrounded by good staff and very decent gear. I’m blessed to have good support. So I can concentrate on just doing a good job for the dog or cat in front of me. And the owner.

I think that when you do that: just focusing on what the pet NEEDS and nothing that it DOES NOT NEED –  you are observing the Golden Rule and you win at life. At least you win at NextDoor Neighborhood Favorite! Two years in a row!

Almost every clinic we were compared to was bigger than ours. Had more customers. Much more marketing. So it’s especially nice when the votes get tallied and we were tapped for that honor.

Thanks
