Chronic Skin Diseases

This is a video that addresses food allergy, atopy, and chronic skin infections.

Dermatology and some of the changes in its utility are discussed.

Several points of “bad medicine” are brought up.

Notably

  1. Lots of steroids (Even continuous steroids)
  2. Apoquel immune suppression
  3. Cytopoint vaccine
  4. Lots of antibiotics, even 24x7x365
  5. Changing food

Important points like:

  1. Antibiotics won’t work without reducing inflammation
  2. Reducing inflammation won’t work if infection is ALSO present
  3. Apoquel could kill your dog but that might be better than suffering with skin disease.
  4. “Treating for Everything” is certainly a feasible approach.
  5. Cytopoint won’t work in ‘diseased’ skin.
  6. Allergy testing for skin disorders may be pointless when you use Apoquel or Cytopoint.

Enjoy.
