The Pills
There are a lot of different brands of NACs and Resveratrols that are just fine, and dosing isn’t critical but here’s an overview of what I have personal experience with and what I’m recommending at the moment. I tend to like these two brands for their value, their volume and because they are market-leaders, their quality: Bulk Supplements and Nutricost
STRENGTH IN AGING – DE-CELERATED AGING
“One of Each” for almost all dogs
NAD+
DHEA and
Geranyl geraniol
The Geranyl Geraniol I have used since I started taking it, is not on Amazon anymore. The above is exactly what I was taking except the brand is different.
IMMUNE SUPPORT and CANCER PREVENTION (Antioxidant therapies)
“One of Each” for almost all dogs
NAC
A person might take up to 6 GRAMs a day. A dog could take that much without harm and you are encouraged to give the highest level your billfold is comfortable with (up to “a couple grams” a day. This is PARTICULARLY true for dogs with chronic skin infections, joint disease, and cancer.
Alternative NAC is a chewable one, that most dogs will take easier than a capsule: NAC Chewable Gummy
Ascorbic Acid
A person might take up to 6 GRAMs a day. A dog could take that much without harm but it might upset their stomach (or it might not.) Work your way up to the highest level. This is PARTICULARLY true for dogs with chronic skin infections, joint disease, and cancer.
Alternative Ascorbic Acid is a tablet that, with a smear of peanut butter on it, is acceptable to most larger dogs with decent appetites. The silver bullet of pilling dogs is BRAUNSCHWEIGER or LIVERWURST (Same thing)

ANTI-ARTHRITIS (T.R.A.P. Protocol)
“One of Each” for almost all dogs – (Any dog over 12-15 pounds)
Resveratrol
Astaxanthin
There’s a 24mg astaxanthin for almost the same price. If you elect that, again it’s just “One of Each” for almost all dogs
Turmeric
Turmeric at high doses is harmless to the dog HOWEVER some dogs are tender-stomached and can’t handle it, getting an upset stomach over 500mg. This is rare. Also, Curcumin is fine for dogs so the kind that I take and give is okay for your dog.
GUT HEALTH and ANTI POLYP
Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides (Inulin) from Jerusalem Artichoke or Chicory Root
You can put 1/4 tsp per 10lbs of dog, on their food*. Store AIR TIGHT because this stuff hardens like a rock if you leave it open.
- A 40-60 pound dog would get 1 tsp on their food once a day. Even if you feed twice a day.
