When you “get a dog to eat” by his taste buds, he loses the ability to eat what he NEEDS by his hypothalamus.
A normal-to-thick dog is picky about DRY FOOD but a slender dog isn’t picky about ANYTHING.
When you feed canned or fancy fresh food (aka: Pizza in a bag) they’ll eat even when they’re not hungry. And overweight accelerates arthritis and heart disease in dogs. And they can’t get a bypass or new knees. For them, it’s over when it’s over. Years in advance of when it has to be.

I actually admire the Bil-Jac company. In fact, I knew Bill Eldridge personally when I was a kid. Nice guy. I highly suspect he has passed by now. He and his partner used to go to Tip-Top poultry on Gresham Road in Marietta and get loads of chicken parts and then take it all down on Hwy 41 to rented space, ground it up and boiled it down to a tasty nutritious frozen food. Sold it to Kroger t first, and then it caught on. Larger and larger accounts until it was Georgia wide! Then the rest is history.
To this particular food though: I feel like their “Picky No More” diet takes nutrition to the “next level” like sugared cereals took 1970’s Mom’s to the next level “getting kids to eat their breakfast.”
Yeah, it’s the identical same thing.
