A Curated Collection of Articles on Carp Edema Virus CEVD aka Koi Sleepy Disease KSD (57 Pages)

From Doc Johnson:

So what I gathered was that there were fish dying.

In practically all cases there was hardship and parasitism.

The symptoms practically all looked like SVC’s secondary pathogen-invaders.

Anecdote held that salt and heat worked and it was tried in some cases and worked.

In Germany they had cases like that. Then someone tested a bunch of fish and it turns out over there, CEVD is in a LOT if not ALL Carp.

So it makes you wonder if it’s a ‘weakening virus’ like SVC and that it opens the fish up (in some not all) circumstances to secondary infections and mortalities.
