What Should I Feed My Dog or Puppy?

What Should I Feed My Dog or Puppy?
First, folks should not ‘push growth’ in any way with puppies. Past weaning they don’t get any different calories than adults in nature. And their genetics code a specific rate of bone and cartilage growth. Pushing that can cause the cartilage to be flakey if the bones grow faster than the cartilage. So feed adult food to puppies for best results. That is how I feed / fed my babies.
Because there’s an association between legumes, “grain free” and DCM cardiomyopathy, I’d recommend that until the smoke clears, avoid peas and lentils
You’re feeding Natural Balance Puppy which contains:
Chicken, then:  Peas, Chicken Meal, Lentils, Chicken Fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), Sweet Potatoes, Flaxseed, Pea Starch
So that’s right out.
I fed my dog Ajax from the Nutro line. But consider ANY of the following as good diets for your puppy OR adult dog.

https://amzn.to/2LWQlts  Nutro Salmon and Sweet Potato with Rice Adult diet.

https://amzn.to/30QzqwF  Also Nutro but their Ultra food, which is also Adult diet and legume free.

Any adult Rachael Ray food from the following search, (https://amzn.to/2p3FHI0) avoiding her Nutrish line. Her Just 6 and Peak line is great. Adult versions.
