Chippedpets.com is an online repository where you can list your pet’s RFID (ID chip) in a 24 hour day and night database and it becomes searchable by Google, usually within the week.
FREE OF CHARGE
Developed by Johnson Vet Services.
Your listing can contain as much, or as little information as you wish.
What this means is that a person who found your dog or cat can scan the chip, then type the chip ‘straight-up’ into Google and FIND YOU without having to ‘guess’ what chip manufacturer or website holds your chip’s data.
This is the first time EVER that finders have been able to find a pets owner JUST by typing the chip code into Google.
We recommend that you enter the RFID into the database with AND without spaces, and also that you use the VETERINARIAN’S contact information. The entry form is set up to prompt all this.
Not using your own information can cause delays if your pet’s in an emergency clinic. And it won’t even work if your pet was vaccinated on a card table in a feedstore because those clowns don’t keep records, or have an actual office.
If you mean to be reachable IMMEDIATELY on discovery you should put your work phone or some other direct-contact information in the listing.
How do we protect you from spam?
- First, you could potentially get junk-calls or emails. if a veterinarian, finder or emergency clinic can find you, SO CAN COLD-CALLERS and spammers. It’s just a trade-off and we do our best to mitigate it. Including…..
- We don’t share your information. Ever.
- You can’t ‘highlight’ or ‘cut and paste’ any data from the web site. Try it. Neither can bots.
- You’re advised NOT to include your mailing address, and you’re encouraged to put an email address OR your cell phone but probably NOT BOTH, or you can even shield yourself by using your Veterinarian as a proxy. Just make sure you give enough details that your vet can find you!!!!!
“I don’t know my dog or cat’s chip code, what do I do?”
Just call and we can give you that. If we didn’t place your pet’s chip, we will scan it for you, just call ahead.

Whatever heaters you use, back yourself up with a temperature controller, it'll turn on, and off your heaters. If your heater seizes "on" at least the thermostat will stop a tragedy.

1200 Watt heater, on a thermostat held securely above the waterline, works GREAT as a large tank heater. That's all I'll say because there's risk of electrocution and all that. But then, even in a bucket you could get killed. Sound like fun?
