Pain Management System, Gradual Progression

Pain Management System, Gradual Progression

When a dog or cat suffers arthritis pain in later years, it’s important to manage that and preserve ‘quality’ and ‘comfort’ of life. And it’s pretty easy because there are a LOT of ways to manage arthritis / pain in older dogs and cats. But we don’t want to use EVERYTHING at once.

Most dogs can get along with one medicine, as needed. But of course, that wears out pretty fast and they need medicine daily, and so on.

Here’s the progression of pain / arthritis medications we use between onset of arthritis and 18 years of age. Hopefully.
