DHEA’s Impact on Obesity in Dogs Showed 60% Improvement in Loss

Just another study showing that DHEA given to dogs NOT on a diet resulted in the loss of 3% of their fat body weight per month versus controls that lost nothing. And when put on a calorie restricted diet lost weight about 50% faster than the group on the same calorie restriction but NOT on DHEA. There was an impact on Thyroid hormone levels. On DHEA the dog’s cholesterol levels dropped a lot. Doc Johnson
